I believe that every individual has a unique story that has led to their current moment. My job is to hear and understand this experience, while providing well informed feedback and guidance for change. I often say to my clients that their job is help keep me balanced because if I all I did as a therapist was push them for change, they would feel misunderstood and on the other hand if all I did was validate their experience, they would feel like we aren’t getting anywhere.  The ironic thing is, this balance looks different for everyone.

"I work from the perspective that because each individual comes from a different set of experiences, counselling needs to be flexible and integrative to meet these needs. "

I wanted to create a team of highly trained, competent, and compassionate therapists, who also see the value of looking at each individual as needing something different from the process.
